We Build Carpenters

Carpenters are skilled craftsmen who work in a variety of construction settings, from commercial and industrial sites to heavy civil construction projects. Carpenters are responsible for building and installing many different components of a structure including piledriving, concrete forms, steel studs, floor installations, cabinetry, and interior build-out.

One of the most important aspects of a carpenter's job is building and maintaining scaffolding. Scaffolding is essential to many construction projects, providing a stable and secure platform for workers to access areas that are difficult to reach. Carpenters must have the ability to build, repair, and take down scaffolding safely and efficiently.

Carpenters also work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and concrete. They use specialized tools and techniques to cut and shape these materials, ensuring that each piece fits together perfectly. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents and work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure that each aspect of the project is completed on time and to the highest standards.

In addition to technical skills, carpenters must also have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work well under pressure. They must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces. A successful carpenter is someone who takes pride in their work and is always willing to learn and improve their skills. If you enjoy working with your hands and want to be part of a dynamic and growing industry, a career as a union carpenter may be just what you're looking for.
